fire and the flood
it’s been a minute… but here’s a little update :)
for the past two months i had the opportunity to watch heaven meet earth in south east asia. showing children the love of their Savior. sharing with the world that there is a divine creator who made them fearfully and wonderfully. walking streets of brokenness, but seeing so much hope, because i know my God infuses dark places with light.
i am forever honored to be apart of what God is doing in the nations and for the ways his people on the other side of the world have marked my heart. i got to invest a week in rebuilding a school where children will learn about their creator. i got to teach english to those who are lacking opportunities to education. i got to go home to home telling people about a life without striving and a God who loves them. i taught classes to teenagers about their identity and purpose. i witnessed the healing hand of Christ and walked the streets with his authority. i fell in love with villages, people, and cultures. these two months changed me, and may all the glory go to the one who sent me, for apart from him there is no good thing. my heart burns for these people and places, but the Lord has a greater love than I ever could. it was the greatest blessing to be the hands and feet of Jesus. to proclaim the gospel. to be a small piece of the great commission.
in two months, i got to witness the fire and flood of the Holy Spirit. Because my God is an all consuming fire and is bringing the water of life. My God is setting hearts on fire and refreshing desperate souls. His love is spreading like a wildfire and he is infusing believers with his living water, the only thing that can satisfy. my God brings life from death - dry bones to life!!!!
peace + love
